Maragon Private Schools > Facilities

Maragon is an internationally-recognised centre of excellence, where education of the highest quality is provided.

Maragon Private Schools are situated on 10 hectares of prime land in the tranquil area of Ruimsig. The school is in Peter Road, opposite the Roodepoort Golf Club, adjacent to Monash University.

Facilities and buildings are comparable to the best, complemented by an indigenous garden. Development is ongoing, with 17 500 square meters of sports fields and an additional 18 High School classrooms being the latest additions completed in January 2008. A state-of-the-art hall complex, the campus’s crown jewel, is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2008. This impressive building comprises a 1000-seater hall, a triple volume foyer with views over the sporting facilities, a canteen that stretches over 350 square meters, a fully-equipped audiovisual centre, dedicated aftercare facilities, offices for sport management and Heads of Departments, and a spacious staffroom.

The safety of our students is of utmost importance to us. Entrance to the school is controlled by full-time security guards, at security gates which have been positioned at strategic points. Systems controlling vehicle and pedestrian access to the campus are strictly enforced.
