REDENAARS
During the first term the Inter house Redenaars competition takes place. The first three places of the junior and senior section are entered in the ATKV competition.
The first elimination round of the ATKV-Redenaars competition as well as the Semi-final round takes place during the second term. The National Final round takes place during the third term.
On 12 April 2013 Quinnlyn van der Merwe (gr. 8) and Kattie-Jane Johnson (gr. 11) competed in the first round of the ATKV Afrikaans First Additional Language competition. It will be made known at a later date whether or not they have made it through to the semi-final round.
On 26 April 2013 Benjamin Devantier-Du Plessis (gr. 8), Karli Coetzee (gr. 10), Eleanor Froneman (gr. 10), Carla Devantier-Du Plessis (gr. 11) and Carien Singleton will compete in the first round of the ATKV Afrikaans Home Language competition.
OLYMPIAD
The Senior Afrikaans Olympiad is written in the second term (21 May). The Junior Afrikaans Olympiad is written in the third term (5 September).
