DRAMATIC ARTS
Maragon offers its learners the opportunity to take Dramatic Arts as a subject from grade 10 to grade 12. Dramatic Arts is a designated subject in the IEB and affords the learners the opportunity to study various forms of drama in performance, theory, history and literature.
Dramatic Arts learners are required to complete theory and practical exams at the end of term 2 and term 4. In September 2010 the grade 10 Dramatic Arts class won the Award for Best Ensemble Cast in the Randfontein Arts and Culture Festival. This same class, in 2011, won the award for most original performance.
