Serving the community addresses many grass roots problems and is a way of giving back or paying forward.

Outreach teaches preschoolers the value of kindness and compassion through community service projects. Young children may identify with projects that relate to their own personal experiences, such as those that benefit sick children in a pediatric hospital, abandoned pets at an animal shelter or the elderly in a nursing home. Involve the children as much as possible throughout the process. This helps preschoolers understand that the community benefits as a direct result of their own efforts.
