BTSD is a performing arts academy that offers the services of various classes in the performing arts to Maragon learners. Classes are offered in various forms of dance, drama and singing, on Maragon property. BTSD is owned and run by Steven and Rochelle Hicks, industry professionals, who dedicate their time to educating and training in the pursuit of excellence in the performing arts. Various holiday workshops are held during school holidays and learners also have the opportunity of participating in Maragon’s own performing arts competition. Every year learners are also chosen to travel to New York to attend BTSD’s holiday training programme with other industry professionals. In August 2011 learners worked with actors such as Julia Roberts and Daniel Radcliffe.
