MARAGON GOLF DAY 2011

MARAGON PRIVATE SCHOOLS WILL BE HOSTING OUR 11TH ANNUAL GOLF DAY ON

MONDAY, THE 24TH OCTOBER 2011

AT THE ROODEPOORT COUNTRY CLUB (RUIMSIG)

 

 

JOIN US FOR A DAY OF FUN ON THE GOLF COURSE. THE GOLF DAY HAS PROVEN TO BE ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE SOCIAL EVENTS ON THE MARAGON CALENDAR AND THIS YEAR WILL BE NO EXCEPTION!


FORMAT OF PLAY

  • Better Ball
  • Maximum handicap for the adult field: 18/24 (Male & Female respectively – Non-official)
  • Maximum handicap for the junior field: 36 (official) or 24 (non-official)

 

MONEY MATTERS

  • Adult four ball fees: R2 000.00 per four ball OR R500.00 per person (Includes a welcome pack, shirt & dinner)
  • Junior four ball fees: R250 per person (Includes a welcome pack, shirt & a meal)
  • For sponsorships of holes and prizes, please see the attached sponsorship form

 

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

JUNIORS

The Junior golf day will be held in the morning starting at 7h00. All primary school students must be accompanied by an adult, that can either play with them as a part of their four ball or walk the course with them. There are two floating trophies that are awarded to the best primary school and best high school player of the day. Refreshments and the prize giving for the juniors will begin at 1:30pm.

 

ADULT PLAYERS

Mulligans will be sold, but are limited to 2 for each player. The Prize-giving should begin by 6:30pm, followed by dinner.
