Maragon Bus Service – Featherbrooke Estate

We are pleased to announce that the bus service that we have trialed between Featherbrooke Estate and the school seems to have been well received by the pupils and parents especially in the mornings. It seems as if the afternoon route is not that popular and this is mainly because of the various times that the pupils finish with school and/or extramural activities. We are still however going to provide an option for pupils to take the bus in the afternoon at a time that will be most convenient for the majority of pupils wanting to make use of the service.

Parents will need to start purchasing tickets for the bus service from the start of term 1 in 2012 on the 9^th of January 2012.

We are also investigating to implement more bus routes as soon as possible to accommodate more parents and pupils of Maragon.

Fee Structure:

• R1610 for the Double Route (morning and afternoon per term)
• R920 for the Single Route (only morning or afternoon per term)

The following conditions will apply:

• Bus fees will be payable in advance per term
• Only quarterly/term tickets are available
• Fees are not refundable should a pupil not ride on the bus
• Tickets can be purchased form the Finance office at the school
