History
Maragon Private Schools have a proud legacy rooted in excellence, faith-based values, and educational innovation. Established in 1998 by the Doxa Deo Church with just 52 learners, the vision for holistic, Christ-Centred education was clear from the beginning.
In 2013, a pivotal partnership was formed between Doxa Deo and Maragon Private Schools (under the Maravest banner), culminating in the official rebranding of Doxa Deo East School as Maragon Private Schools Olympus in 2014.
A significant milestone was reached in 2015 when Maragon Private Schools became part of the ADvTECH Group—South Africa’s second-largest private education provider. This partnership strengthened the schools' commitment to high academic standards and Christian values.
As demand for quality private education in Pretoria East grew, Maragon Mooikloof High School was established in 2017 to accommodate increasing enrolments. Today, Maragon Olympus (Pre-Primary and Primary) and Maragon Mooikloof High School operate independently at different campuses yet remain united by a shared mission and a strong sense of community.
